GlowRig Privacy Policy
GlowRig is designed as a private, offline screen-lighting tool. We do not collect, upload, sell, or share personal data, and we do not use data for tracking or advertising.
Data we do not access
GlowRig does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, health data, or advertising identifier. The app has no account system and contains no advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Data stored on your device
Lighting scenes, favorites, preferences, and recent-use state remain on your device. They are not sent to GlowRig or a remote server. Deleting the app removes this local data.
Nearby-device connections
GlowRig requests local-network access only after you choose to create or join a lighting group. It uses Apple MultipeerConnectivity to communicate with nearby Apple devices. Devices exchange lighting settings, device roles, and session state—not photos, audio, or other personal content—and traffic does not pass through a remote server.
Purchases
The one-time GlowRig Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. GlowRig reads Apple-verified entitlement status but does not receive or store payment-card details, payment credentials, or complete purchase receipts.
Retention and deletion
Because GlowRig does not collect or store personal data on a server, there is no server-side personal data to export or delete. You can manage local scenes and preferences in the app or remove all local data by deleting the app.
Children's privacy
GlowRig does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Policy updates
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and its effective date and, when appropriate, describe the change in the app's release notes.
